Dr. Tushar Utekar is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist currently practicing at Regional Hospital Mullingar and National maternity Hospital Dublin. Dr. Utekar's qualifications include an MBBS from Maharashtra India, a Diploma OBGYN from the University of Ranchi following this completed training for Post graduate degree in Mumbai and moved to Ireland in 2011 and undertook specialty training in Ireland. He received FRCPI from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland (2025) and European fellow of EBCOG in 2016. Dr. Utekar has been working in the field for the last 19 years as a consultant since 2022 and has a wealth of experience in the field.
Dr. Utekar’s specialist interests include fertility (with a British Fertility Society Fellowship), minimal access surgery for benign gynecology and endometriosis, urogynecology surgeries, and colposcopy (Dr. Utekar is a BSCCP trainer and examiner). Dr. Utekar is also deeply involved in teaching and training, holding the position of RCPI trainer and Hon. Senior Clinical Lecturer with RCSI.
With a focus on providing comprehensive care, Dr. Utekar’s clinical practice includes general gynecology and obstetrics weekly clinics, a fertility clinic twice a month, and a colposcopy clinic twice a month at The NMH Dublin. Dr. Utekar also has a keen interest in physiology-based CTG, facilitating CTG meetings and PROMPT training.
Dr. Utekar has a strong academic background with numerous publications and presentations, demonstrating a commitment to advancing the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
